Anyone with an email address can create an unlimited number of Goodreads accounts. That means anyone can leave reviews — even without reading the book. And yes, groups of people absolutely do this to “cancel” authors they dislike. I know because it happened to me. Two years ago. And yet, the misinformation is still circulating.

Because the kind of darkness I write doesn’t always fit into tidy trigger checklists. These aren’t stories about tropes or kink packaged for mass appeal. They’re stories about power. About control.

I HIRE real artists, narrators, editors, and work hard to write my own books. I shouldn't have to waste time defending my work against this witch hunt.
